The Network of French animation film schools (RECA) is an association bringing together French animation film schools1 created in 2012, to "contribute to the legibility of the training offer in the animation sector" and "promote dialogue between schools and with professionals in compliance with a common ethics" according to its foundators2.
This network was born from the association of fifteen French animation schools3.
The RECA is an association under the 1901 law recognized as being of general interest, supported by the National Center for Cinema and the animated image (CNC), by the Magelis image pole and by the unions of the animation cinema sector: the animation film producers union (Animfrance) and the Federation of cinema, audiovisual and multimedia industries (FICAM)4,5.
