Palm Springs International ShortFest is a seven-day competitive short-film festival hosted by the Palm Springs International Film Society in Palm Springs, California. The program brings together hundreds of short films from around 60 countries, curated into themed screenings across animation, documentary, live-action, and student sections. ShortFest also includes industry-facing activity through the ShortFest Forum (panels, classes, and roundtables) and a market and video library for accredited professionals. Selected awards serve as qualifiers for major prizes, including the Academy Awards®, BAFTA, Goya, and the Canadian Screen Awards. The 2026 edition runs June 23–29, 2026.
