Courtney Montour
Courtney Montour, a Kanien'kehá:ka filmmaker, is known for directing projects that examine what it means to be Indigenous. She worked with Alanis Obomsawin on Flat Rocks, which revealed the effects that the development of the St. Lawrence Seaway had on her home community of Kahnawake. Her debut documentary, Sex Spirit Strength, explores the reclamation of Indigenous sexual health and gender identity.
