Juan de Dios Larraín
Educated as a lawyer with an MBA, Juan de Dios Larraín founded in 2004, along with his brother, filmmaker and producer, Pablo Larraín, the Chilean production company Fabula, responsible for twenty-four films. Including one Oscar win for Best Foreign Language Film category (2018), for A Fantastic Woman, directed by Sebastián Lelio.
In 2019 he produced four films, Mi amigo Alexis, directed by Alejandro Fernández Almendras, Pablo Larraín's latest film "Ema", starring Gael García Bernal and Mariana DiGirolamo. Homeless, first animation produced by Fabula and Nobody knows I'm here, directed by Gaspar Antilo, first collaboration with Netflix.
