Agniia Galdanova

Agniia Galdanova is a award-winning documentary film director, known for her immersive storytelling and deep exploration of human relationships. Her previous film, One Step Forward, One Step Back, highlights a family's aspiration to live in isolation in the Altai Mountains, and it premiered at the Message to Man International Film Festival. Galdanova's latest project, Queendom, which centers on young queer artist Jenna Marvin, premiered in the Documentary Competition at SXSW 2023 and received NEXT:WAVE Grad Jury award at CPH:DOX.
