Hadïh! I am a Gidimt'en clan member of the Witsuwit'en people. I have been active in the reclamation and resurgence of our yintah (land) for many years and since Dec 2018 became the Media Coordinator for the Gidimt'en Checkpoint. This work entails developing media strategies that align with our direct action and political efforts. I am a content creator and also facilitate media from supporting videographers, including writing the text for posts on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. I have a background in writing with a book of poetry titled I'M a Real Skin, a BA from UVic with an English major and Indigenous Studies minor. I also have a BEd from UNBC.
