Jonathan Millet

Jonathan Millet, a director with a background in philosophy, spent years filming in remote regions across about fifty countries, including Iran, Sudan, and the Middle East. This experience honed his ability to capture powerful imagery and convey atmosphere. He directed the feature documentary Ceuta, Prison by the Sea (2014), selected at over 60 international festivals, followed by Tell Me About the Stars in Antarctica, and La Disparition (2021), in the Amazon. Millet’s short films, like And Still We Walk On (2016), garnered acclaim, including a César Award nomination. His first fiction feature, Ghost Trail, follows a series of successful shorts and medium-length films, solidifying his reputation as a talented filmmaker.
