Nikolina Žabčić

Nikolina Žabčić (1993, Zagreb) is a first-year MA student of animation at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. A winner of two Rector’s Awards: in 2018/2019 for large-scale artistic team work on Gustav Mahler’s opera, and in 2020 for group work on the project ‘150th Birthday of Mahatma Gandhi’. So far she took part at many group exhibitions, including Cash&Carry; at HDLU, Pasionska baština at the Šira Gallery and a group exhibition of drawings and paintings as part of the Festival of World Literature at the Josip Račić Gallery, as well as three solo exhibitions. In addition to studying, she is particularly active in the field of illustration.
