Audience Awards at the 30th Sarajevo Film Festival Go to “Black Box Diaries”, “We Have No Other Land”, and “Komar”

The Audience Awards at the 30th Sarajevo Film Festival in Bosnia & Herzegovina have been announced. “Black Box Diaries” by Shiori Ito won for Best Feature Film, “We Have No Other Land” by Basel Adra, Hamdan Ballal, Yuval Abraham, and Rachel Szor won for Best Documentary, and the TV series “Komar” created by Timur Makarević was also honored.

The 30th Sarajevo Film Festival, held in Bosnia & Herzegovina, concluded with the announcement of the UniCredit Audience Awards, celebrating the audience's favorite films and series among the 240 screened during the eight-day event.

The prestigious UniCredit Audience Award for Best Feature Film was awarded to "Black Box Diaries," directed by Shiori Ito. The film resonated deeply with festival attendees, earning widespread acclaim.

In the documentary category, "We Have No Other Land," a collaborative effort by Basel Adra, Hamdan Ballal, Yuval Abraham, and Rachel Szor, took home the Audience Award. The documentary's impactful narrative and compelling storytelling captured the hearts of viewers.

The award for Best TV Series went to "Komar," created by Timur Makarević. The series' innovative approach and engaging content made it a standout choice among the audience.
