Applications Now Open for the 30th Suzdal Animation Festival in Russia

The 30th Open Russian International Animation Festival in Suzdal, Russia, has opened submissions for its 2025 edition, scheduled for March 19-24. Applications are accepted until December 17, 2024, via SUZDALFEST.ONLINE. Submissions for the 11th Ikar Animation Awards, set for April 2025, close on January 15, 2025.

Submissions are now open for the 30th edition of the Open Russian International Animation Festival, a landmark event in the Russian animation calendar. The festival will take place from March 19 to March 24, 2025, in Suzdal, Vladimir Oblast, with additional activities available through the SUZDALFEST.ONLINE platform.

Animation filmmakers, studios, and other rights holders are invited to submit their works for consideration. Applications can be submitted via the official platform, https://festapp.ru/suzdal2025, with a deadline of December 17, 2024.

The festival has become a major hub for the animation industry, showcasing works from Russian and international creators while fostering dialogue and collaboration among artists and professionals.

In addition to the festival, submissions have also opened for the 11th National Animation Award "Ikar." This prestigious award ceremony will be held in April 2025, recognizing outstanding achievements in animation across multiple categories. Entries for the Ikar Awards can be submitted through https://entryform.ikaraward.ru/2025/ by January 15, 2025.
