Edinburgh International Film Festival announces 78th edition dates and submission opening for 2025 in Scotland
The Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF) has officially unveiled the dates for its 78th edition, which will take place from August 14 to 20, 2025, in Edinburgh, Scotland. Film submissions for this much-anticipated event will commence on January 6, 2025, through FilmFreeway.
This announcement marks a continuation of the Festival’s commitment to championing independent filmmaking and nurturing fresh talent under the leadership of CEO and Festival Director Paul Ridd and Festival Producer Emma Boa.
