History of Cosmonautics

Russia is rich in discoveries in the field of cosmonautics. In the sixth episode of the series “History of Russian Science” we will remember how it all began: the first rocket projects, satellites, the first human flight into space. But all this became possible thanks to the work of Russian and Soviet scientists and engineers who were behind it: from Konstantin Eduardovich Tsiolkovsky to the creator of “Buran” Gleb Evgenievich Lozino-Lozinsky. We will also talk about the lunar program and other space projects that are being developed in Russia today.
