Month Of Leaves

Film was made only for five days during master class for gifted child’s of North at Khanty-Mansiysk. Natural materials were used in the film: driftwood of interesting shapes, pieces of wood, dried exotic plants. To realize the idea of working “from sound,” the directors held several musical jams with the guys. Everyone took any thing that made a sound, and from the general sound chaos they created a single harmonious melody. This recreated the primary school reception of the film - the creatures living in the forest sound unusual and, playing together, create a melody.
