Clawlolo "The Genie"

by Alexey Alexeev

“Genie” is an animated short and joyful non-dialogue children’s musical being part of the “Clawlolo” series for children that originated from the imagination of twin brothers from Hungary six years ago when they were just 10 years old. Joe the Octopus finds an “Aladdin’s lamp” but throws it away. Eric the Crab tries to make a sound by rubbing it, and a Genie appears. Eric doesn’t know what to do with it, so at the Crab’s request, the Genie keeps dancing or singing, even when Eric’s already asleep. Joe notices this and steals the lamp. But all three of his wishes turn out to be foolish (parted hair, a big nose and ears) But once the Genie’s fulfilled the three wishes, it disappears back inside the lamp, which Joe accidentally loses. Joe is stuck with the stuff he wished for.
